J'ai vu M. de La Mothe (le Vayer); avec tout son talent, il allait vite comme un fou.

Il portait des bottes fourrées, un bonnet doublé aussi de fourrures qu'il ne quittait jamais, un grand rabat et un habit de velours noir.
